Fact Finding /Document Gathering Best Practices
Ask for online access to all fuel vendors.
If online access is not granted, ask the client to pull transaction reports, usage reports, historical purchase
reports or inventory reports (via Excel) for 12 months.
Ask for 6-12 months of invoices if they do not want to provide either of the above two options.
Ask for contracts, pricing agreements, rental agreements and service agreements.
Note: it is not common for Fleet Cards to have contracts, only Fuel Tanks.
